Hi AuntGranny. How are you? Not sure if you are still out there, because I see that you were posted a year and a half ago. I find myself in a desperate situation, unemployed, needing money, and facing eviction. I'm scared and embarrased. Can't sleep, so I've been on the internet all night, seeking employment and answers to my predicament. Any words of advice or encouragement would be appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, CC.

HelloMy name is Christopher Dejesus I’ am a loan modification specialist I work at Save My Home I seen sometime last year you where in need of assistance in paying your mortgage howeverMy company can help you; if you have been late and at times you cannot afford your mortgage payment we can help by negotiating with your bank by lowering your interest rate and even taking what you owe and rolling it on to the back of your mortgage so therefore at the end you will be at a new and lower interest rate leaving you with a way more affordable payment.
Do you think that filing bankruptcy may help. You can file without losing everything. If you plan on staying in your home for awhile I suggest it. My friend has made arrangements and paid off her debts in 5 years with low monthly payments. With the economy & finances being down the tubes, bankruptcy isn't as bad as it use to be re: credit.
I would like to help if you need lawyers fees. But that sounds like the only solution if you need help fast!!
Alex is still having pain but we did find out he has to have gallbladder surgery. Please pray over this because he is really scared and I cannot console him. I started a new job which is going okay but it does not pay what I am used to. They also call you off a lot in between projects so it can be frustrating. I am still behind in my rent so please pray about that. I also have a minifundraiser again this weekend which I hope goes well as I need to raise at lease 250 dollars. My health is doing okay but I have an infected spider bite which is causing the blues. Good news my daughter made me a grandmother again as she had my 10th grandchild on Mother's Day. He was 3 pounds 9 ozs. and 16 inches long. He is doing fine but he will be in the hospital for another month.

my daughter is due today 8/28/2007, and we're in a bind with money to buy baby clothes, bedding, and a car seat. Mostly clothes that we're worried about. The sad thing is that it's her first child and she wanted everything to be perfect when she brings the baby home. I'm also worried. We don't have any money to help with cause my husband was hurt on a job cutting trees, when it rains it pours around here.neither one of us have any family to speak of. Our church helps us with food. I've never asked for anything before so I'm not to good at this. Please if anyone out there can help us take her worries and mine away. She's 19 single and the father is no where to be found or his parents. So if anyone can help us please email me at truehazen@gmail.com or if there's anything I could do to earn or pay it back I will always be available anytime.Or cynthiaturnier@yahoo.com. And again Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cynthia Turner

Sandy,
Have you tried the freecycle group in your area. Go on internet and find freecycle.com and see if there's a group in your area. If so, you can advertise 'WANTED: Sewing Machine'. Who knows you may get lucky.
Also, try calling some of the schools and colleges in your area that offer sewing. Alot of times they have updated and may give machine away to seniors.
Good luck,
ekikaseven
When I put the title up on this text I was refereing to my grandmother, she's 76 yrs. old and on Sept.7th she'll be 77.I call her mom because she rasied me sence I was a baby. And now I'm returning the favor or trying to do my best to see she has the things she needs, she lives on a fixed income.I myself clean houses for a liveing but it's only seasonal work.Well to make a long story short.I haven't had alot of work this year, because I take care of my grandmother alot,so we just barely get by anymore.I wanted to ask if maybe someone out their could help me make her dream come true on her B-day, she wants a sewing machine,we could never afford something like that.I'm not picky anything old just something that sews.Thank you for your time. Sandy
Hi My name is Antonia I'm disabled and My grandmother Edith Hunter is in a money crisis. I know that this may not reflect to the agenda but please hear me out she took care of me all her life. My father and mother was not there she's the best thing that ever happen to me and I want to give back thats why I'm secretly writing to you about her. She's in need of desperate help she has a house over 100 years old 3bedrooms 2more in the attic. She can't afford to keep anymore her child my aunt, uncle , and mom are grown now. she's trying to rise her 4 grandchildren not including me because I'm 21 now she on a fixed income and she's a widow. Her house is going to foreclose in september the month of my wedding. When I should be happy about getting married I'm not because I love my grandmother so much it hurts I don't want to see her out on the streets with her grandkids. She sacrifice a lot for me and my brothers and cousins. Her mortgage being rised every month they know her situation but no one wants to help her. She's my mother when I had no mother she's my father when I had not father. Please Please find it in your heart to help my grandmother she's a beautiful person and I'll go all out my way to help her. Please help her it would be a blessing.

Hi,
My name is Kristi and I need to make a fresh financial start. Last year my Grandmother lived with my husband and me for the last eight months of her life. She had Alzheimer's and we were her care givers. During this time, I lost touch with things and let some really important things slip my mind. We own a small business in the town that we live in and when she moved in with us I started working from home. I made some errors financially that has now left us in a real bind that I can not seem to get us out of. My husband and I work hard and I am trying desperately to reorganize so we can begin our life again without the huge strain of financial distress that I have caused my family by letting myself get out of touch with reality while my Grandmother was with us. Any help would be appreciated and once I get back on my feet, I vow to continue visiting this site helping others in my position. I am in need of $8700.00 to catch up and get my head above the water so I can get back on track. If financial help is not available then pray will be much appreciated.
Thank you for the time you took to read this. God says that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I feel that he lead me to this site. God Bless you all.
I am a 49-year-old woman who is raising my 8 year-old granddaughter by myself. My ex-husband walked out two years and two months ago, leaving me a full-time student with no job and no income to run off with his girlfriend. Though I was awarded $1200 monthly for three years when we divorced, I have only in the last six weeks begun to receive the $280 per week he is to pay me, and the arrearages are over $19,000. I inherited some money two months after he left, as did my mother. She promised me she would see me through the next two years of school, which would have given me an Associates Degree and the capability to test for my certification as a sign language interpreter.
However, her health took a turn for the worse and she never went home after her last hospitalization. Nursing home care is so expensive, her money ran out about 5 months ago, and I had to quit school with only two semesters to go to finish my training. Last October, my 26 year old daughter and her "boyfriend" stole everything I owned of value, including over $43,000 of jewelry that belonged to me, my mother, and heirloom pieces that had been in the family for generations. My unreimbursed loss after insurance paid off was $39,500 and only about 5 pieces of jewelry have been recovered in local pawn shops and back in my possession. These items represented my "cushion" of security as they were liquidatable assets that could have supported me if I had sold them. They are now gone.
I have a mortgage, a car payment, utilities, and credit card payments to make and no income of any kind. I have not worked outside the home since 1999, and haven't been able to since I have had to raise my granddaughter since the day she was born. My daughter has been in and out of jail and after what she did last year, is no longer a part of my life. The baby has no one but me, since her daddy signed over his rights, and her papaw took off. I am the only adult that hasn't turned their back on her and I now have no way to support her. She needs security desperately, but she won't have a home, her school and friends, or the ability to play soccer if something doens't happen soon. I can't afford daycare to go look for a job, and being over 40 and not having been in th workplace for over 8 years, reality is that I won't find a decent paying job quickly if at all, even though I am highly skilled in administrative and accounting fields and am more intelligent than most, but lack that college degree that somehow means "smart" to so many people in the workforce. My years of experience make me overqualified for many positions, so the cons list grows while the pros list still waits to get started.
I don't want charity but I do need money to live on and need it now. If I could just get enough to make it through the next 3-4 months without worrying about losing the house or the car, I could beat the streets and find a way to support myself. However, at this point, my back is against the wall and there is no flexibility and it just all came crashing down NOW.
Please could somebody help me? For many out there, it would be no more than some of their tax-deductible charitable donations, but it would mean the difference in an 8-year-old's future and very possible the rest of her life, mentally and physically, and it would mean we wouldn't have to live on the streets somewhere. I can't do that. With some time, I can turn everything around. However, to do that, I need money. Please help me. Please help us.
I am in desperate need of financial assisstance. My grandmother was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and we have no insurance or money to pay for the up coming surgery, docotr's appointments, treatment's, medications. Most of my family lives paycheck to paycheck including myself, so with all of my saving already spent, we find ourselves with no means to pay for the increasing medical bills. I was planning my wedding for May 26, 2007, unfortunatley, my grandmother became very ill and our wedding had to be cancelled. All of the money that my fiance and I had saved up for our wedding has been spent on doctor's visits and medications for her. I don't care spending my money on her she is one of the most important persons in my life. But I am running out of money fast and have no one to turn to. If you would like to help please email me at Candy_s_m@hotmail.com. Any little bit helps, God Bless you.
